Our Policies

 

Payment Terms & Conditions

A $500 USD deposit is required at the time of booking for those course reservations made 45+ days in advance of the departure date.  This deposit is nonrefundable.  Full payment of the nonrefundable final course fee is due for bookings made within 45 days of the class start date.  Upon receipt of your reservation request and payment, you will be tentatively booked for the course.  This reserves your space with the group and will become a confirmed booking when a Journey reaches its minimum participation level.  All courses are subject to minimum participation and if for some reason this requirement is not met by 45-30 days prior to the scheduled program departure date, the class will be cancelled, and a full refund issued (not including international wire transfer fees).  Clients are advised to wait until you receive a Final Booking Confirmation before making any airline or other transportation reservations.  The nonrefundable payment of the final balance will be due no later than 45 days prior to the courses scheduled start date.  It is the responsibility of the student to pay the final balance online via credit card, by check or international wire transfer by no later than the final reservation due date.  Failure to do so may result in a forfeit of deposit and losing your space in the class.  Prices are subject to change without notice.

 

Method of Payment 

We accept payment for Journey participation via checks drawn on US Banks, international wire transfer, personal Visa or MasterCard (Issued by US Banks only).  

 

Discounts and Commissions

Any discounts or commissions due to the course participant will be subtracted from the final balance due payment and may not be applied to nonrefundable deposit payments at the time of booking unless otherwise indicated on a special written offer/coupon.  Commissions are subject to confirmation and full payment of balance due by the referred client/participant and will be paid within 30 days of completion of a course.  Discounts, coupons and commissions may not be combined.

 

Safety, Security and Financial Responsibility

Though Strategic Communications provides security advisory services in conjunction with its international courses, it assumes no liability and provides no implied or direct guarantee of the safety and security of participants.  Clients understand that all travel and participation is at their own risk and discretion.  On-site security advisors are not responsible for providing medical insurance or making payments for services. Journey/course participants are responsible for all financial obligations with regard to services needed that exceed the scope or provisions provided by the scheduled itinerary.

 

Instructor Policy

Strategic Communications does not endorse nor are we liable for any statements, recommendations, products or instruction provided by instructors or facilitators in the commission of instruction or through delivery of Personal Sessions and Consultations. Strategic Communications additionally reserves the right, without notice, to change the course instructor, guide or practitioner promoted for a course for any reason.  Clients agree to hold harmless Strategic Communications, Journeys-by-Design, Indigo Inspired Solutions and it's representatives from incidental and consequential damages.  Journeys-by-Design acts solely as a reservations facilitator for private sessions conducted by Instructors.  By participating in one of these Private Sessions, you agree that the session is an agreement created solely between yourself and the Practitioner/Instructor, entirely apart from Journeys-by-Design/Strategic Communications, and that you do so at your own risk and responsibility.

 

Certification Program Provisions

Please note that the "Metaphysical Practitioner Certification In Intuitive Studies" designation mean that the person has received para-professional training in the psychic and spiritual arts, and has been awarded this Certification designation by Journeys-by-Design as verification of completion of the program  Some of our Certified practifioners are licensed health care professionals, but many are not, and a a Journeys Certification is not a substitute for medical or psychological care or training. If you require the care of a licensed health care professional, please contact your state's medical and/or psychological board. Please also check and abide by your state's regulations concerning para-professional counseling. Journeys-by-Design/Strategic Communications makes no guarantees or promises regarding a session with a Journeys Certified Practioner. By contacting one of these Practitioners, you agree that the session is an agreement created solely between yourself and the Practitioner, entirely apart from Journeys-by-Design/Strategic Communications, and that you do so at your own risk and responsibility.

 

Accommodation Provisions

Strategic Communications reserved the right to change the accommodations to an alternate property for any reason and without notice. This may be done to accommodate a smaller or larger number of participants, due to space availability, or for any other reasons that might arise at the time of final group booking.   

 

Service Provisions

Strategic Communications reserves the right at any time and for any reason to refuse service to any potential client.  We further reserve the right to remove any guest from a tour for any reason including but not limited to behavior that causes a disruption to other tour participants, illegal actions, drug use or activities, contagious medical concerns, excessive consumption of alcohol. Removal of any guest from a tour will be completely at the expense of the tour participant and Strategic Communications and its participating vendors or representatives shall have no requirement to provide financial restitution or facilitate the guests return home.

 

Cancellation Policies

Should Strategic Communications need to cancel a course/Journey within 45 days of the departure date due to an act of God, international or regional security concerns, or any other reason, refunds will be at the discretion of Strategic Communications less any supplier payments or fees already incurred on the course’s behalf up to the full amount of the course price.   Participants are offered trip cancellation insurance directly through a link on this Journeys-by-Design website and are encouraged to purchase insurance to cover all transportation, course and package costs.  Participants, upon reading these policies agree to and understand that acquiring trip cancellation & travel medical insurance is their responsibility unless it is stated as included in the course price.  Should a participant not purchase this insurance it is understood that this constitutes a waiver of medical and financial liability for the associated Journey they have purchased.  All Journeys are subject to minimum participation and Strategic Communications reserves the right to cancel any course, for any reason, at any time without liability to itself, participating vendors or representatives.
