Journeys Metaphysical Practitioner Courses

Journeys-by-Design is an international organization whose purpose is to assist humanity through education focused on uniting metaphysical processes with daily living; to inspire transformation; and provide the opportunity for union with Spirit.  In alignment with this purpose, we provide students with course options that cross many barriers between previously separate fields of metaphysical practice so that they can become practitioners of a higher order with a multifaceted toolbox we believe will certainly be a necessity in the years to come. 

Similar to a lifetime college degree program, our course elements are weaved into each Journey or Retreat, and then customized based on the needs of the students present.  We unite with Spirit and allow guidance to flow rather than offer entirely linear courses cemented to a timeline, and the Florida Retreats make this an affordable adventure for students on a budget.

 

Core elements form the foundation of our programming giving students a broad spectrum opportunity to work in depth with Journeys Instructors to identify their individual gifts, and then specify their focus and passion beyond that discovery.  Focus courses provide a variety of special-feature options for exploration and progressive training.

 

Developing a language that is very personal to how each student receives information on an intuitional level and then building a working vocabulary are two of the key facets of the Journeys Curriculum.  This allows for in-the-moment communication in daily decision-making and at an accelerated level stepping directly out of each classroom experience.

 

One of the elements you will not see in our programming is a class-by-class separation and designation between beginner and advanced.  This is because Libraryworking with Spirit is truly an ongoing experiential process.  We instead provide you with the opportunity to build and work in the energies through unique exercises so that we are always catering to our students at their current level of functioning.  Everything is progressive and personalized in our curriculum delivery, allowing students to move at the perfect pace for them, and in the care of our instructors.

 

Ongoing teacher access beyond the classroom is available to students through the Journeys website portal.  Our Ask a Teacher Section allows you to stay in close contact with Journeys instructors beyond the classroom to ask follow-up experiential and “how-to” questions as your growth continues.  Journeys instructors are dedicated to assisting students in working toward self-mastery prior to the student engaging in public practitioner level work, and we are aware that time for energetic and physical transition and transformation between classroom experiences, as well as practice, are vital parts of this curriculum that can not be forced or rushed. 

 

A note about Mediumship… You will notice that Mediumship is always a part of the curriculum.  We are aware that not TouchingLighteveryone wants to be a practicing medium, but we use this classroom time in a personalized way for each student, and we find that the energies that are built during this session can also be used to heighten other altered states of awareness such as working with guides, expansion of psychic ability and healing.  Students need not be practicing mediums to truly benefit from these courses, nor do you ever have to be concerned about being “put-on-the-spot” or asked to perform platform mediumship if that is not your path.  Perhaps the messages of the day will be for you!

 

Life is a Journey of learning, and building that life through union with your higher self, spirit and in alignment with the Divine Design will assist you in fulfilling your soul purpose.  That is the true pathwork that we offer through our programming… a dedication to building your personal mastery and “toolbox” for use in every aspect of your own journey-by-design.

Work with a variety of methods for use of intuition, kinesiology, meditation & personal card-making system. Learn to initiate psychic entry using clairvoyance, clairaudience, and/or clairsentience to use for daily and life-changing decision making.

Working with the Aura for Healing

This course gives the student the ability to feel an aura physically & psychically including awareness exercises for experiencing your own energy vs. others, the etheric aura layer sensation, and healing channeled to another vs. standard concepts of directing energy.

Learn to work psychically to map the aura using the 4-quadrant method for a reading in the present – past – future within the 4-areas: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Elemental Introductions

Introduction to animal medicine; description of the attributes of the four elements: air, fire, water, earth, and how we use their power to transform our lives and nurture our souls. Working with semi-precious stones and crystals through kinesiology.  Understanding the energetic truth behind Feng Shui as it relates to manifestation – intention building vs. form dogma, organization vs. chaos translation in life areas.

Acrylic Painting In Altered State

Experience working with acrylic paint, music, movement, meditation and color to enter altered state for balancing, shifting and healing.

Progressive Mediumship

Step into the energy of Mediumship in this progressive classroom in which students of all levels have the personalized opportunity to experience mediumship and work on their next step in advancing their own abilities.  These energies allow altered state flow and opportunities for non-mediumship track students to work psychically as well as participate in messages and healing.

Progressive Aura Work – Psychic Intuitive

Continuing application and skill-building in the 4-quadrant method of mapping the aura progressed into the past and future for reading an individual in the 4-areas: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Working with light energy to analyze, balance and heal through the chakras.  Reading the Physical, mental and emotional auric layers and clear-channeling healing through the etheric blueprint.  Extended discussion on personal balancing techniques.

Discussion of the energies at work within and on behalf of the planet and humanity, the Mayan calendar, non-fear-based planning and predictions, working with guides for personal visualization work and soul level preparation.

Understanding Educational Certification & AccreditationUniversityBuilding

Because Metaphysical Sciences is considered a “new emerging field of study” by federal and educational agencies, many practitioners frequently knock on our door and ask if we offer a certification program.  Though we had initially considered doing this, we followed direct guidance from Spirit to avoid offering such programming due to the fact that rigid courses inhibit the flow of personalized information and energy delivery.  We were also told that having a piece of paper declaraing completion of a course does not guarantee an individual's level of ability, and instills a false sense of completion in a field of study that truly has no end point or barriers.  Journeys has instead choosen to weave a combination of personal and custom delivery around in-the-moment guidance and progressive study for our students that happily breaks through limitations.
