We are excited to announce the second half of 2008 Florida Retreat series program which includes big changes and additions included for our students!  And here are just a few...

• We've added a Special Edition "Manifestation & Mediumship" Retreat in June which brings the year together with hands-on instruction and work directly with spirit to merge mediumship, daily decision-making and deliberate creation.
• Expanded Instructor Mediumship Demonstrations providing messages to students
• Full Sweet Tomatoes on-site buffet lunch included for students (August & November) 
• Private on-site consultations/readings for students at no additional charge (limited seating by pre-reservation)
• Longer individual courses allowing for in-depth student work with Spirit on a shorter-day program

The 2008 Florida Retreats

We are pleased to offer these 1-day Florida Retreats for 2008 hosting classes that offer a wide variety of training and experiences as well as certification as a Journeys Metaphysical Practitioner.  You do not need to be on a certification track to enjoy participation, but we encourage you to review this exciting option in the Certification Section of the website to learn more.  This section also provides detailed class descriptions for each of the courses listed below.  Our Team of International Instructors  and specialists rotates to teach these FL Retreat courses based on indivudual student needs and program topics.

Our team of international instructors lead journeys all over the world, but enjoy using Central Florida as a special retreat destination several times each year.  This allows us to offer intensive training options with multiple teachers for all levels of students, a complete 1-year Metaphysical Practitioner Certification in Intuitional Studies, and great flexibility in meeting student requests for specific types of instruction.  Courses in Florida vary from 1-day to 3-day retreats for those students on a tight budget (usually between $120- $400 per course) who are dedicated to journeying with us more frequently to expand their own abilities.

Everyone has the ability to access their own personal intuitive senses, and these Florida Journeys provide hands-on tools and instruction in working with energy, intuition, clairvoyance, clairsentience, altered state, healing, mediumship and more.  No matter what level of experience you have, these courses are designed to assist you in making a heart-soul connection with your purpose and abilities to apply to daily living.  Students can enter the ongoing certification program at any point in the year to begin.  Here are just a few of the subjects we work with:

Working with spirit is a never-ending exciting exploration, and our students know that being “in the energy” at our all-day Florida Retreats, no matter the subject being focused on, allows for spirit to continue to build the bridge, provide energetic assistance, messages and healing, and give a sanctuary in between the demands of daily life.  To assist our students financially, we are offering 50% off the registration fee to any current student who brings/refers a new/full payment student to any of the remaining 2008 Florida Retreats.

Our 2008 Retreat Location

The Hampton Inn Orlando North  in Altamonte Springs is our official hotel for the 2008 Florida Retreats. Located just off of I-4 in Altamonte Springs, this beautiful property is newly renovated, has a full, hot, buffet breakfast available for only $5.00 (if you want to arrive early and eat before class begins at 9:30am), and they have a wonderful interior outdoor courtyard or indoor glass-enclosed area to relax between classes.  Also, within walking distance are area restaurants including Perkins and Longhorn Steakhouse for lunch-on-your-own.

Driving Directions:

From downtown Orlando, take I-4 East to the Altamonte Springs Exit/SR436/Semoran Blvd.  Make a left at the top of the exit onto Semoran Blvd/SR436.  Make an immediate right onto Douglas Avenue and the Hampton Inn is on the right about ¼ of a mile.

From Orlando International Airport, take SR436/Semoran Blvd all the way to Altamonte Springs (approx 45 minute drive).  Cross over the I-4 Interchange and stay on SR436.  Make an immediate right onto Douglas Avenue and the Hampton Inn is on the right about ¼ of a mile. 

For Long-distance Students in need of Accommodations

If you should need overnight accommodations, the Hampton Inn Orlando North  has graciously provided Journeys-by-design with a discounted rate of $79 per night (single or double occupancy - discounted from $109 retail), and rooms have either a king or (2) double beds for students to share accommodations if they choose.  Students can make reservations direct with the hotel by calling 407-869-9870, and be sure to let them know you are eligible for the Journeys program discounted rate.  The hotel offers a lovely interior courtyard, pool and overnight guests enjoy a large buffet breakfast each morning.  

Florida Retreat Scholarships Available for June

The Journeys-by-Design Scholarship & Sponsorship Program provides scholarships and participation opportunities for students through linking with exceptional organizations who have a dedication to assisting humanity.  The June 2008 Special Edition Florida Retreat Course "Manifestation & Mediumship" is sponsored by Inspired Solutions, and we will be awarding (3) Scholarships. 

We are now taking applications for Scholarships to this June 2008 Retreat. These scholarships are available to new or returning students based on financial need, and cover the cost of the course fees for this program ($95).  They do not cover transportation, food of accommodations, so we ask that only those students who are local to Florida or planning to fly in at their own expense apply for one of these available assistance programs.  To apply, simply click here and fill out the application form .  The application submision deadline is May 22nd, and we will notify the winners by May 26th.
